ADB Annual Meeting 2025 Highlighted at ITA Italy-Kyrgyzstan Business Initiative
On October 3, 2024, the country presentation dedicated to Kyrgyzstan was held in Rome at ITA, the Italian Trade Agency. The event highlighted the opportunities for trade exchange, investment, and cooperation between Italy and Kyrgyzstan. With over 140 participants, including representatives from 39 Kyrgyz companies and 61 Italian companies, the initiative featured B2B meetings, facilitating dialogue and creating new partnerships in agro-industry, energy, textiles, banking, and bottled water.
The ADB Annual Meeting 2025, which will be held in Milan from May 4 to 7, was presented on this occasion. Marco Forzini, head of the Asia and Oceania Office of ITA, also illustrated the international procurement opportunities offered by the Asian Development Bank.
The Italian Trade Agency is supporting the Department of the Treasury - Ministry of Economy and Finance - in charge of the coordination of the 58th edition of the Annual Meeting.
It is the first time that Italy will host the ADB Annual Meeting, an opportunity to strengthen relations with the Asian continent and the Pacific islands with a view to sustainable development and growth. Ministers and senior officials from the 68 member countries of the ADB will participate in the event. Numerous events involving international organizations, businesses, civil society, and academia will be held alongside the institutional meetings.
