The seminar Engineering and Consulting in Asia: Italian Know-how and Innovative Solutions for ADB Projects was held on May 5th, within the framework of the ADB Annual Meeting 2025 in Milan.

The event, organized by OICE, Italian Association of engineering, architecture and consultancy companies, focused on infrastructure resilience, highlighting case studies and business success with the Bank with particular reference to Central and South East Asia.

Speakers at the seminar included Giorgio Lupoi, President of OICE, Lucia Albano, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Lawrence Bartolomucci, Head of Unit for International Financial Institutions at MEF, Alfredo Ingletti, FIDIC President elect, Jeff Taylor, Chief Procurement Officer at ADB, Jamie Leather, ADB Director of Transport, Paolo Orsini, CEO of IRD Engineering, and Giorgio Bonvicini, International Manager at Rina Consulting.

ADB's investments are essential to support countries' economic and social growth, with a significant impact on key sectors such as infrastructure, energy, agriculture, employment, and environmental sustainability. Italian engineering and consulting companies possess the know-how and technical capabilities that can increasingly be made available to support the Bank's ambitious goals.
