Multimedia Exhibition "1966–2025 – The Italy–ADB Cooperation Story" Unveiled

On the occasion of the first Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) ever held in Italy, the Ministry of Economy and Finance organized, in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA–ICE), a multimedia exhibition hosted at Allianz MiCo in Milan. The exhibition showcases the projects, works, and infrastructures developed since 1966 by Italian companies in partnership with ADB across 34 countries in Asia and the Pacific—highlighting over 1,000 contracts, with a total value of €1.7 billion in financing in key sectors such as energy (44.36%), transport (30.74%), water and urban development (12.34%), industry (6.9%) and agriculture (3.18%).
To give concrete follow-up to the initiatives launched during the Milan Annual Meeting and to facilitate Italian companies' access to Asian markets, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, together with ITA Agency, has planned a series of technical visits in Italy by a delegation of representatives from emerging ADB member countries. These visits will include meetings with Italian companies in the healthcare and agri-business sectors, offering an opportunity to showcase innovative technological solutions with the potential to transform these sectors in the beneficiary countries through ADB-funded operations and projects. The technical visits will be structured in several stages across different Italian regions and will include presentations of industrial districts, innovation hubs, university campuses, and sector-specific trade fairs."
