Hosted in Italy for the first time, the Annual Meeting represents a high-level international forum dedicated to discussing crucial economic and social development issues in Asia, the Pacific, and beyond. The event offers a unique networking opportunity among representatives of member countries, ADB, NGOs, the media, international organizations, and the private sector.
Almost 70 Head of delegations will join in Milan for this event. Italy is looking for a team of Liaison Officers to offer protocol support and logistics assistance to each delegation.
The Liaison Officer (LO) will act as a focal point between the Italian organizing team and the foreign delegations, ensuring warm and professional hospitality as well as secure and fruitful attendance and encouraging interactions during the meetings with the ADB personnel and the other delegations.
The LO will support the delegations with their practical needs, such as transportation and agenda management, and will take care of the protocol aspects of their stay, with particular attention to cultural sensitivities, contributing to enhancing Italy’s image abroad and the role of the Asian Development Bank. Each Liaison Officer will be assigned a specific delegation to coordinate and support, from their arrival in Milan until their departure.
